Healthy eating guidelines that include soda can also cause strain on your heart

We all know that soda or soft drinks we consume can lead to weight gain. Well, it turns out that it is also a strain on your heart.

Researchers in Denmark found that when patients with peripheral artery disease consumed a drink with 67 grams of sugar which is about a 20 ounce soda their markers of inflammation were increased.

When patients drank juice in similar quantities their markers were reduced.

The reason they believe this is happening is because juice contains anti-oxidants that counter the inflammation.

Research is showing that inflammation plays a major role in disease occurences and the more we can do to prevent inflammation the better off we are.

Make sure you include in your healthy eating guidelines and healthy eating plans the proper nutrients to combat inflammation.

Here are two products I recommend you add to your healthy eating plans to reduce inflammation and help to prevent disease.
