Very True!!

This type of research is something we need to pay attention to, but just like when everything thought egg yolks were causing all the cholesterol problems and then further research found that it was saturated fats causing most of the problem and not the cholesterol in egg yolks.

Always pay attention and continue to look for further research to help base your own decisions.

Interesting, indeed! The problem is the we really don't know what ELSE it's doing yet - it's too early to tell. I'm all for experimentation and research, but we need to be careful not to have the hubris to think we have the whole story when we're just seeing the tip of the iceberg.

Fat can't be converted to sugar. When you run out of sugar & use fat for energy, you produce ketones - as on the Atkins Diet. Some proteins can be converted to sugar, though.

Women can get cystitis, caused by E. coli in the bladder. E. coli can also cause lethal infections in the gut.
