University of Researchers found that if you hate to diet and are always hungry it may be because you are just eating the wrong foods.
People who ate more of this one nutrient were more likely to stick to their diet for 1 year than those who ate ate more of another nutrient.
That one nutrient that helped them stick to their diet for 1 year was Protein.
Can you guess what the nutrient was that caused them to not stick to their diet.
Carbohydrates
Now to be clear I am not telling you to not eat any carbohydrates. What I am saying is the majority of your diet should not be made up of carbohydrates.
Your body does need carbohydrates. Just not in the quantities that we tend to feed it.
The reason those who consumed more protein stayed on their diets longer was because protein is more filling than carbohydrates are. They weren’t as hungry as the carbohydrate group says study author Donald Layman, Ph.D.
They also had more energy and didn’t feel as tired.
