A quick weight loss success story part 2

 

Here is part 2 of Matt’s 5 week transformation.

5.  How has the Five Week Fat Loss program helped you with controlling your calories?

I have learned a lot about portion control and the importance of a good nutrition scale always being accessible.  It has been such an eye opener to realize how many calories the “allowed foods” have and how many more of those I can eat vs. a poor nutritional choice which I can only have a miniature portion of for the same calories.
 

6.     How has having a plan created for you helped you with staying in control of the types and amounts of food you eat? 

It has been a big help to have everything laid out.  It allows me not to have to think about what I am going to eat each day – because it is all right in front of me.

7.    What progress and success have you seen to date while on the program? 

Overall I feel much better because I am eating things that are good for my body.  While on the program I lost 9 pounds, 2 inches off my stomach and an additional 2 inches off my waist in the 5 weeks – now, since continuing the program past the 5 weeks I have lost close to 15 pounds total.  I am able to wear clothing from my early college days which have been collecting dust for years.  My belts are being pulled tighter, and my pants are getting too loose – but most of all, I am able to play with my daughter more and more everyday without feeling so exhausted.

8.    How do family members, doctors, friends, etc feel about your progress?

My family is proud of my determination and commitment to stick to this program.  They have been supportive and have made comments about how good I look and how my outlook on life overall has been more positive.  My wife and I have been able to come together to workout each day and make sure that our meals are planned out and nutritional according to the guidelines – which then sets a great example for our daughter who was accustomed to my fast food / pizza eating habits of the past during the time she started eating table food until now.
