Have you heard of the apple diet?

Well, it doesn’t actually exist.  But there is a healthy eating tip that involves consuming an apple before every meal.  This healthy weight loss trick was the focus of a study, and the study found that people consumed less calories at lunch when they ate a raw apple 15 minutes before their meal.

This happened because the snack started making them feel full before they even began their meal.  And it is okay to feel full from an apple because it is low in calories and high in good nutrition.  Also, eating snacks right before eating healthy meals probably tricks the brain into thinking that less food needs to be eaten since something has already been consumed.
