<p>The question you should be asking yourself is not <em>Which fruit juice is the healthiest option for my family and me?</em>, but <em>What should I be drinking instead of fruit juice?</em></p>
<p>Whether there are harmful levels of arsenic in your favorite brand or not, fruit juice is doing damage to your healthy eating plans anyway.&nbsp; There are much better options for staying hydrated, getting good nutrition from a drink, or enjoying your favorite fruit flavor, as long as you can shake that overly-sugary taste that you crave.&nbsp; <span id="more-2197"></span></p>

<p>When you want a great-tasting fruity drink, try making your own smoothies, or even your own natural fruit juices by using a juicer.&nbsp; When you don&#8217;t want to put the work in, look for packaged fruit purees with simple ingredients.</p>
<p>Knowing which fruit juice is healthier than the other is not how to eat healthy.&nbsp; Use the other healthy eating tips you have learned about sugar and good nutrition to make good choices for fruit juice alternatives.</p>

<p>More than one-third of people surveyed said they are trying to change their diets, yet they are not consulting any resource for help.&nbsp; Without turning to informed people and trusted resources, comprehensive healthy diets cannot be built.&nbsp; <span id="more-2140"></span></p>
<p>A majority of the participants said that they are purposely trying to either lose weight or maintain their current weight.&nbsp; It is clear that most of these people are not using the right tools for lifelong healthy weight loss since we still have an obesity epidemic.</p>
<p>1 out of every 5 people whose BMI indicated that they were carrying too much weight marked their opinions of their own weight as ideal or underweight.&nbsp; So there are plenty of people who still are not aware that their weight is a health issue.</p>
<p>The percentage of people who reported a sedentary level of physical activity rose from last year.&nbsp; And, less than half of active people ignore a very important component of exercise: strength training.</p>
<p>As a nation, we have a disconnect between knowing how to eat healthy and actually eating right.&nbsp; Do your part to start making more positive results for future surveys like this one.</p>
